Terms of Use

These terms cover betterjob.id, its waitlist form, and the app at app.betterjob.id. By using any of them — or by creating an account — you agree to what follows.
Status of the service
The Betterjob app runs as a beta. Features may change, become unavailable, or be withdrawn; job data may be incomplete or lag behind its source. We make no promise of uninterrupted availability during this period.
Your account
Using the app requires an account with an email address and a password. Keep your password to yourself; activity through your account is your responsibility. If you think someone else is using it, change the password from your profile and tell us.
One account per person. Give accurate details, and do not sign up with someone else's email address.
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may also suspend or close an account used to break these terms.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist does not create an account, does not guarantee earlier access, and costs nothing. You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
No guarantee of employment
This matters: Betterjob is a tool for matching profiles to job listings. We are not a recruitment agency, not an immigration adviser, and not an employer. We do not promise listings, interviews, offers, visas, or residence permits, and we are not responsible for decisions made by any employer or authority.
Figures such as “99+ platforms” describe the coverage we are building toward, not a promised outcome.
Listings and applying
The listings we show come from public job boards and remain the property of whoever posted them. We do not verify every listing, the salary it quotes, or the identity of the employer — check for yourself before applying, and treat any request for money or unusual personal documents with suspicion.
The apply button sends you to the employer's own site or to the original board. The application happens there, not on Betterjob. The “Applied” list inside the app is a record you keep for yourself — it is not proof that an application was sent or received.
Referral codes
Every account gets a referral code you are welcome to share. It is meant for other people to use when signing up; do not spread it through spam or in a misleading way. We may void a code and its count if it is used that way.
Acceptable use
Do not use Betterjob to submit false data or someone else's data without permission, to try to reach an account that is not yours, to interfere with the service, or to harvest its contents automatically at scale.
Intellectual property
The Betterjob name, logo, mascot, copy, and design are ours. Third-party logos shown belong to their respective owners and appear only as platform references — their presence implies no affiliation or endorsement.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Betterjob is not liable for losses arising from use of the service, from third-party listing content, or from decisions taken on the basis of either.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. The last-updated date sits at the top of this page, and we will flag significant changes by email or inside the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
